The Romanian trade show is a real prologue
to October’s Surexpo. There were more
than a dozen Polish companies in Bucharest,
almost a quarter of all exhibitors present.
Aside from the announced companies, Essoyo
also made it to Romania and with them, they
brought a new machine that can stir up the
Polish market. The Romanian law has changed
in June, and is now a little less friendlier
to operators, but to confirm this, we'll
have to wait until the end of the year.
On August 25th, at 10 AM in the Romexpo
hall Dawpol, Gamestudio, Vegas, Gamesystem,
Magic Play, ViV, Jakar, Gametek, X-Line,
Eurotronic, Powertronic, Visio, Essoyo and
we of course - Interplay, showed up to open
the show. Interestingly, we haven't found
neither a portal, not a magazine about gambling,
at this mainly gambling-based expo. Aside
from the large amount of Polish companies,
we also noted the presence of Synot, Kajot,
Novomatic, TAB, Funword and Casino Technology
among others at the show. Aside from that,
the two exhibition halls were filled mainly
with Romanian companies.
